US Layoffs — August 2021

The US labor market showed continued flux as employers recorded 150 WARN Act notices in August 2021, covering approximately 15,931 workers — marking a decline from July and down 80% versus August 2020. Filings came from 30 states and territories, with an average of 106 workers per notice.
