US Layoffs — December 2023

The US labor market showed continued flux as employers recorded 354 WARN Act notices in December 2023, covering approximately 28,588 workers — marking a decline from November and up 4% versus December 2022. Filings came from 29 states and territories, with an average of 81 workers per notice.
