US Layoffs — July 2007

The US labor market showed continued flux as employers submitted 120 WARN Act notices in July 2007, putting at risk an estimated 13,093 workers — down from June and up 25% versus July 2006. Filings came from 17 states and territories, with an average of 109 workers per notice.
