US Layoffs — June 2011

The US labor market showed continued flux as employers recorded 247 WARN Act notices in June 2011, covering approximately 18,126 workers — marking a decline from May and up 15% versus June 2010. Filings came from 24 states and territories, with an average of 73 workers per notice.
