US Layoffs — February 2012

The US labor market showed continued flux as employers recorded 213 WARN Act notices in February 2012, covering approximately 19,507 workers — marking a decline from January and down 8% versus February 2011. Filings came from 27 states and territories, with an average of 92 workers per notice.
